14th & 15th, 2004 This popular event attracts thousands of visitors each year. The tours are guided and transportation is provided to each location. The area is rich with Turn-of-the-Century architecture and many of the homes reflect the Arts and Crafts era of the 1920's. This year there are three homes and three commercial buildings on the tour. In addition, the annual Quilt & Antique Show will be running concurrently with the home tour and transportation is provided. This is a great time to spend a weekend in Globe and take in all of the Home Tour activities as well as local shops, restaurants, and Antique District.

13th & 15th, 2004 The annual show is a living display of plants and their blossoms designed to interpret the Language of Flowers. For centuries flowers have been used for discreet and diplomatic communication when words proved to be difficult or impossible. A bouquet of red rosebuds, gardenias, and jonquils, for example, would send three messages, "You are pure and lovely," "I love you in secret," and "I desire a return of affection." Also, sample decadent gourmet confections from Bernard Callebeaut Chocolatiers; morsels are available for purchase this weekend for an additional fee of $1 each or six for $5. 12th - 14th, 2004 This is a 3-Day event, open to the public, attracts hundreds of dancers and drummers to compete in Native dress. The Grand Entry on Friday is a spectacular vision as ALL the participants parade into the Main Pavillion at the beginning of the 3-day event. It is here that you will get your first look at the beautiful beadwork, feathers and hand worked leather dress which is part of every Apaches' heritage. Beautiful! Worth the trip. If you haven't been to a POW WOW before, this one is a great place to start! Bring the family. No reservations are necessary.
